The dusk went away slowly and it was time to lit up the lamps inside the house to have the dining.A tin lamp was lit up on to the dining table .Utensils were ready for serving the rustic supper. The lamp was not bright when lit up ,gradually it came brighter as the night grew darker. When the eating was over and the night was dense and darker, the lamp shone brighter enjoying the delightful night…!
‘Wind in the Chariot’ is my attempt in Acrylics on Paper, to portray the moving spirit of wind riding a chariot of its own.The movement of the force has been tried to bring out in the moving chariot, making a conveyance of liberty and power to the figure riding over it ( The work is latest and is now ready to be displayed before the audience in a live show to be held in INDIA soon)
‘WIND IN THE CHARIOT’ (one among my latest works in acrylic on paper)
A living in Lisbon (PORTUGAL) happened with the FLOWER COURT Apartment in this winter. The living room was enriched with white walls , curtains, the wooden and metal craft works and another curios in glass, wood and clothes. The contrasting reds of the furnishings with the white of the wall ,the fittings, Lamps with their shades in cloth and paper provided a sense of vigor and vibrancy to the entire space. While the painting on the wall depicted a far away view of the landscape and the history of the land, the metal sculptures arranged in an array on the table set a pace of movement to the atmosphere of the entire living space of the FLOWER COURT in LISBON,the Capital of Portugal!
THE PETALS IN METAL FROM LISBON ( Wall decorate from the FLOWER COURT APARTMENT)
In the past mid day lights of the winter, the farm houses ( Hungary) were found cheerful with the chirp and chill of the birds and animals within the farm- fences and around. The farmer was ready with the before dusk drinks and eats to them ; the young ones were released from their cabs to have their evening feeds and ran hurriedly to their mom. Though there were thick clouds of the winter in the sky, the sun shone brighter and sharper through and filled the grounds with fair heat and glitter. Amidst the farms ,stood my beloved home, shining brighter and soothing the chilling surface of the winter fields …!
This latest work in acrylic medium attempts to bring out Hunger, the powerful feeling that survives the world of all beings and thus keeping itself ahead among the rest of the feelings. In base level it controls most of the human actions and proves to be the motivational force behind the world of strife and struggle. This work is to put on the experience in color and spheres!
The showers in winter starts within moments after the clouds gather around the air and lasts for a pretty long time, especially in the evening. Then the paths are filled with umbrellas all on a sudden because the folk expects the showers always in the winter!
The artisans were able to have enough wood from the land ; they planned to carve innumerable sculptors out of the wood they got; they thought of a huge animal found in the land to be sculpted out of the stuff they had got and thus a lot of wooden elephants were born out of the wood which they got; now those elephants fill up the courtyard of the artisans with a question of what the viewers would do with this much of wooden sculptors stuffed with skill and substance !? ( these artifacts are from the extensive showrooms of Srilanka’s craftsmanship)
